Races

Overview

First of all, there are no gnomes. Other races are not as different from humans as in standard Dungeons and Dragons. The biggest immediate change is the fact that other races live only somewhat longer than humans, and they mature physically very slightly slower than humans. Also, all races receive more ability score bonuses than in standard 3.5. Height and weight are determined as in the PHB.

Ability Score Bonuses

Humans receive +2 to one ability score of choice and other bonuses in the PHB.
Half-Elves receive +2 to one ability score of choice and other bonuses in the PHB.
Elves receive +2 Dex and Int, -2 Con, and other bonuses in the PHB.
Dwarves receive +2 Con and +2 Str, -2 Cha and other bonuses in the PHB.
Halflings receive +2 Dex and +2 Cha, -2 Str and other bonuses in the PHB.
